The Hi-Acts Technology Labs

Hi-Acts Technology Labs bring together leading scientific teams to develop high-impact technological innovations.
Our mission: to build a direct bridge between research and industry – accelerating the path from breakthrough to market.

The Technology Labs focus on advancing key technology areas, increasing the Technology Readiness Level (TRL), and shortening the path from scientific discovery to real-world application.

This is how we help transform the ideas and needs of our network partners into high-level scientific and technical solutions—quickly and precisely.

Each Technology Lab is actively supported by the Hi-Acts Transfer and Innovation Management Team. The team brings together the right stakeholders, initiates joint activities, and opens doors to follow-up projects and funding opportunities.

Dive deeper and discover how Hi-Acts drives innovation where it matters most.

Currently, five Technology Labs are driving forward pioneering topics:
Researcher in laboratory clothing working on an electron gun
Researcher in laboratory clothing in front of an electrostatic accelerator
Zyclotron in a Lab of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf
Plasma wave accelerates electrons in a laser plasma accelerator
Technical code and numbers
